POETS AND PRESENTERS

Charlie Bondhus’s (2003) second poetry book, All the Heat We Could Carry, won the 2013 Main Street Rag Award and the Publishing Triangle’s 2014 Thom Gunn Award for Gay Poetry. His work appears in numerous journals, including Poetry, The Gay & Lesbian Review, CounterPunch, The Alabama Literary Review,and Midwest Quarterly. He is the poetry editor at The Good Men Project (goodmenproject.com).

André Demers (2010) was a member of the Quatrain staff and the Abbey Players, and took creative writing classes in both poetry and short fiction during his time at Saint Anselm College.  He is the Business Manager of The Café Review, an independent poetry, art, and reviews journal based in Portland, Maine.  He writes occasional poetry reviews for Newpages.com and is still working on a collection of poetry that will probably never be finished.

Evan Glasson (2002) was born in Providence, RI and lives in Arlington, MA. His first book, a long poem titled Vital Pursuits, was published by H_NGM_N BOOKS. His poems have appeared in Barrow StreetMichigan Quarterly Review, and Poetry East, among others. He holds an MFA from the New School, where he was a Riggio Writing and Democracy Initiative Teaching Fellow, and co-edits the poetry journal, LEVELER.

Christine Guarino (2004) is a poet living in the Boston area. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Lesley University. Christine has worked in volunteer management, fundraising, and executive recruiting for various nonprofit organizations. She currently works in development at Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Boston and volunteers with VIDA: Women in Literary Arts. Some of Christine’s recent poetry has appeared in The Ilanot Review and Glass. 

Brian Kelly (2009)is an entertainer, producer, and arts administrator living in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is a co-founder and Director of Dorks in Dungeons, a technically internationally touring improv comedy troupe, and Keep Portsmouth Loud, an arts advocacy group working to preserve creative spaces from noise ordinances and gentrification. He recently closed the marketing business he owned with his fiancé to take over management at the struggling Seacoast Repertory Theatre. He once accidentally pepper sprayed a girl on Valentine’s Day. 

Sean Tinsley (2011) lives in Providence, Rhode Island.  He is an English teacher at an independent secondary school, where he specializes in American Literature and Humanities.  He has earned his MAT at Brown University, and he has taught elementary, middle, and high school. He frequently writes articles and poetry.
