Book of the Month Program
How it works

The Book of the Month is not a formalized book club. Rather, it is a way for us to share titles of interest from our faculty and staff to you, our alumni, families, and friends.

Each month, there will be a book featured in Anselmian Connections with a brief synopsis, a link for more infromation, and the name of the recommender. If you miss the email, never fear! The same information will be posted on this page.

November's Title - The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie

This month's feature is The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie. In Christie's debut novel, Hercule Poirot makes his first appearance when Emily Inglethorp is poisoned at her home in Styles St. Mary. But how did the culprit penetrate and escape her locked bedroom? With suspects abound - each with their own secrets to keep - the famed Belgian detective goes to work, unravelling the twisting tale.
