Book of the Month Program
How it works

The Book of the Month is not a formalized book club. Rather, it is a way for us to share titles of interest from our faculty and staff to you, our alumni, families, and friends.

Each month, there will be a book featured in Anselmian Connections with a brief synopsis, a link for more infromation, and the name of the recommender. If you miss the email, never fear! The same information will be posted on this page.

April's TitleThe History of Sound by Ben Shattuck

Our April feature is The History of Sound by Ben Shattuck. Set in New England over three centuries, the collection of intertwining short stories serve as a love letter to New England as it shows the way love, loss, and emotional connections transform throughout the years.

This book was recommended by Angela Beatrice, Circulation Associate in the Geisel Library.
