Student Alumni Ambassador Mission:

To advance Saint Anselm College through programs that enhance the student experience, promote student-alumni interaction, establish a spirit of loyalty to the college, and cultivate relationships between all Anselmians.

Who We Are:

The Student Alumni Ambassadors (SAA) is a group of students managed by the Alumni Relations Office that serves to strengthen the relationship between students and alumni. SAA members have the opportunity to meet and interact with alumni, trustees, and administrators while actively participating in Alumni Relations activities. The SAA members will benefit from Professional Development Opportunities, creating an Anselmian Experience for all students, and preparation for their future as Anselmian Alumni.

Leadership Council:

The Student Alumni Ambassadors are a group of 45 strong who help to uphold the mission and goals of the program. Inside of the group, there is a Leadership Council that leads the program through the year in planning events and professional development, social media content, and engagement strategies. The Leadership Council for 2021-2022 are as follows:

Events, Networking, & Professional Development

Events:
The SAA students support the Office of Alumni Relations in their flagship events such as Homecoming and Reunion weekends, President's Box Events, Regional Network Christmas Parties, Donor Events, and many more. The SAA students also put on events for the student body at Saint Anselm College, including Professional Development and Networking Events.

Networking Opportunities:
Throughout the year there are a variety of events, presentations, or gatherings that SAA members can attend to network with Saint Anselm Alumni and members of the College Advancement team. We make sure as a member of the SAA team that students are engaging and networking with our Anselmian Community to create a network for themselves when they become alumni! Throughout the year, students will have the opportunity to attend premier events with some of our most notable alumni.

Professional Development:
SAA hosts a series of presentations from campus partners (Career Development Center, Intercultural Center, etc.) and outside speakers to enhance skills for the future. In most cases, opportunities for professional development are built into monthly meetings by having a speaker for part of the meeting. In other cases, the opportunity will be a standalone presentation. Some topics may include etiquette, networking tips, resume building, and LinkedIn training.
