Book of the Month Program
How it works

The Book of the Month is not a formalized book club. Rather, it is a way for us to share titles of interest from our faculty and staff to you, our alumni, families, and friends.

Each month, there will be a book featured in Anselmian Connections with a brief synopsis, a link for more infromation, and the name of the recommender. If you miss the email, never fear! The same information will be posted on this page.

January's Title - Park Avenue by Renée Ahdieh

This month's feature is How About Now by Renée Ahdieh. Her debut novel follows Jia Song, the daughter of Korean bodega owners who has just made junior partner at a prestigious Manhattan law firm. When her boss asks her to assist with a case involving the Park family, who have made their fortune from their ultra-successful Korean beauty brand, it is up to Jia to find the truth behind family secrets, help protect the Parks' fortune, and cement her position at work.
