Book of the Month Program
How it works

The Book of the Month is not a formalized book club. Rather, it is a way for us to share titles of interest from our faculty and staff to you, our alumni, families, and friends.

Each month, there will be a book featured in Anselmian Connections with a brief synopsis, a link for more infromation, and the name of the recommender. If you miss the email, never fear! The same information will be posted on this page.

January's Title - James by Percival Everett

Our inaugural feature is James by Percival Everett, the 2024 National Book Award winner and Pulitzer Prize finalist, offering a new perspective to Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. This book comes recommended to us by Melina Malik, Assistant Director and Head of Reference & Instructional Services in Geisel Library.
