Book of the Month Program
How it works

The Book of the Month is not a formalized book club. Rather, it is a way for us to share titles of interest from our faculty and staff to you, our alumni, families, and friends.

Each month, there will be a book featured in Anselmian Connections with a brief synopsis, a link for more infromation, and the name of the recommender. If you miss the email, never fear! The same information will be posted on this page.

July's Title - The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

The Book of the Month for June is The God of the Woods by Liz Moore. When Barbara Van Laar goes missing at summer camp in the early morning of August 1975, worlds collide. Not only do the Van Laars own the summer camp—and employ most of the region's blue-collar residents—but this isn't the first time a Van Laar child has gone missing. As the search begins to bring Barbara back home, family secrets slowly unravel.

This book was recommended by Anna Brennan-Curry, Director of Communications, in the Office of College Communications and Marketing.
